Toby works hard around the resort each night keeping raccoons away from garbage cans and armadillos from rooting up the lawns. While we all enjoy our wild guests on the nature trail and the rest of the resort property, they make too much of a mess around the cottages. So each night Toby runs them off. He chases them just far enough off the cottage grounds so they do no harm, and he does not hurt them. Most of our local wildlife have learned where they are welcome on the resort and where they are not allowed to go thanks to Toby!

You can always tell when Toby has had a busy night. You'll see him dozing most of the day near the game room entrance.

Toby also has a knack for slowing down cars going too fast through the resort. Because Toby loves kids so much he takes the offense if it looks like anything will harm them. Toby is extremely good with children, especially small children.
